The rail line continued beyond the Axedale Racecourse Platform through what was then the Axedale Recreation Reserve (now the west half of the Axedale Golf Course), continuing across a bridge over the Axedale-Eppalock Road, through the Axedale Racecourse (now the east half of the Axedale Golf Course), then crossing the Campaspe River, entering what is now the private property "Marydale Estate", through some large cuttings and then through what is now Hanson's Quarries.
