Ingham Siding site

Detailed information for Ingham.

The rail line continued from Ingham's Siding through what is now Hanson's Quarries. The only real evidence is an old bin, identifiable by the horizontal logs in the sidewall. It continued through what is private property, the "Marydale Estate", then on a long trestle bridge to and over the Campaspe River, then through what was the Axedale Racecourse (now the east half of the Axedale Golf Course), crossed Axedale-Kimbolton Road on a trestle bridge, ran through the Axedale Recreation Reserve(now the west half of the Axedale Golf Course), and then connected to the Axedale Racecourse Platform.

The original rail bed is not accessible to the public. However, there are a number of Gallery photographs that can be viewed by selecting the tab below.
