The line exits Leslie Siding on a 30C radius left curve in the middle of Cutting 11 where the walls reach 19'. It then transitions to a 70C radius right curve and enters Bank 10, crosses a 2' barrel culvert, runs through Cutting 10, enters Bank 9 with a culvert at each end, into a shallow Cutting 9 where the line straightens, cuts a log fence, and reaches the 2M point - 35M 16C 51L from Melbourne.
Continuing on a down grade, the line enters Bank 8, crosses a culvert, enters a 20C radius left curve, crosses an Occupation Crossing with gates, crosses a 3' barrel culvert, levels, enters Cutting 8, commences a 1 in 50 down grade, exits to Bank 7, crosses a 4' x 4' arch culvert, and passes a diverted log fence. It then enters Cutting 7, levels and straightens, enters Bank 6, crosses a culvert, enters Cutting 6, then short Bank 5, crosses a culvert, enters Cutting 5, followed by Bank 4, passes a diverted gully, and reaches the 1M point - 34M 16C 51L from Melbourne.
Still running on a down grade, the line crosses a culvert and enters Cutting 4, cuts a log fence, a culvert, an unnamed (Arkell's Lane for the second time) PCR Crossing with 13'6" gates, raised 0.94', followed by another fence on the north side, and enters Bank 3. It commences a 20C radius right curve, crosses a culvert, enters Cutting 3 with up to 27' sides, straightens, cuts through a log fence, crosses an Occupation crossing, enters Bank 2, crosses a 5' x 5' arch culvert, levels, crosses a 3' barrel culvert, enters a 20C radius right curve, enters a 1 in 50 up grade, passes a diverted dam, enters Cutting 2 with up to 24' sides, cuts through 2 garden fences, enters very short Bank 1, crosses a culvert, enters Cutting 1 with up to 20' sides, transitions to a short straight followed by a 15.5C right curve, cuts through a fence, passes under an unnamed road (Epping Kilmore Road) bridge to the Commencement of Contract point at the North East line railway fence at 0M 7C 83L - 33M 24C 34L from Melbourne. The line eventually exited the cutting to connect with the North East line at 0M - 33M 16C 51L from Melbourne.
