Continuing on an upward grade in Bank 11, the line cuts a log fence at an unnamed diverted road PCR Crossing (access road to Leslie), through a fence, over a 3' barrel culvert, into Cutting 12, reaching the 3M point - 36M 16C 51L from Melbourne.
Near the middle of Cutting 12, the line passes under and unnamed road (Arkell's Lane, the second time) Bridge over Railway.
Still on an up grade, the line exits Cutting 12 to Bank 12, crosses a 3' barrel culvert, enters a 40C radius left curve, enters Cutting 13, passes a diverted gully, exits to Bank 13, crosses a culvert, an Occupation Crossing with gates, crosses a 3' barrel culvert, straightens, cuts a log fence, crosses a special 3' barrel culvert, enters a shallow Cutting 14, cuts another log fence, enters Bank 14, crosses a culvert, enters Cutting 15, cuts a fence and reaches the 4M point - 37M 16C 51L from Melbourne.
The line tops the grade while in Cutting 15, levels for 2C, and then commences a 1 in 50 down grade, crosses a culvert, enters a 40C radius right curve, cuts a post and rail fence, exits to Bank 15 and crosses named Broadhurst creek via a 7' x 7' arch culvert, and exits to Cutting 16, continues into Cutting 16, crosses an Occupation Crossing with gates, a culvert, passes a diverted creek, enters Cutting 17 where it tops the grade on a short level, straightens, and starts a downward grade, enters a 60C radius right curve, cuts a post and rail fence, enters a low Bank 17, passes a diverted gully, cuts a log fence, enters a surface formation, crosses a culvert, an Occupation Crossing with gates, enters low Bank 18, crosses a culvert, cuts a post and rail fence, crosses and old sawpit culvert, enters Cutting 18, crosses an Occupation crossing with gates, and reaches the 5M point - 38M 16C 51L from Melbourne.
The line cuts a post and rail fence as it exits to Bank 19, crosses a culvert, enters a surface formation, cuts a broken fence, runs through short, low Cutting 19, straightens, enters a surface formation, crosses a culvert, cuts a post and rail fence, crosses an unnamed road (Union Lane) PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, raised 1.12', cuts another post and rail fence and enters the Bylands Station Ground.
