The line exits the Kilmore Station site on a 15C radius right curve, on a surface formation, at the named Rutledge Street PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, raised 1.44'. There is a fence and a culvert on each side. Next comes the closed Hamilton Street where it enters Cutting 35, cuts 3 fences, enters Bank 36 on the level, straightens, crosses a 5 x 11' openings bridge, then the named Lumsden Street PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, raised 3.95', followed by a culvert, commences an up grade to the entry to Cutting 34. The 9M point is then reached - 42M 16C 51L from Melbourne.
Continuing, it then crosses 2 fence lines, another fence at the named and closed Allen Street, 2 more fences, enters Bank 35, enters a 30C radius left curve, cuts another fence, enters Cutting 33, cuts another fence at the named and closed Green Street, enters Bank 34, crosses a 2' barrel culvert, cuts 2 more fences, enters Cutting 32, crosses a culvert, the named and closed Broadhurst Street, enters Bank 33, reaches the named Powlett Street PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, raised 2.08'. There is a note that there is a culvert in the road, the end of which is to be removed. It then crosses a 5 x 7' openings bridge and a fence, followed by another fence, enters a surface formation, crosses the named and closed Tootle Street and a fence on the Township Boundary.
A fence is next, the line straightens, enters Cutting 31, followed by a surface formation, crosses an Occupation Crossing with 13'6" gates, a culvert each side, enters Bank 32, cuts a fence, crosses an unnamed creek with a 7 x 11' openings bridge, passes a diverted ditch, enters shallow Cutting 30, a surface formation, enters a very short Bank 31, crosses a culvert, enters a surface formation, cuts a fence, crosses an unnamed road PCR Crossing (Wandong Road?) with 13'6" gates, raised 0.83', followed by a culvert and the 8M point - 41M 16C 51L from Melbourne.
Continuing on a slight grade, the line enters Bank 30, crosses a culvert, runs through a surface forming to Bank 29, crosses another culvert, another surface forming where it cuts a post and rail fence, enters Bank 28, crosses another culvert, enters a 60C radius right curve, runs through a short surface formation, cuts a post and rail fence, enters Bank 27, crosses an unnamed PCR Crossing with 13'6" gates, raised 2.43', followed by a culvert and another post and rail fence. This is followed by another post and rail fence and culvert, another culvert followed by 2 post and rail fences, then a surface forming to Cutting 29, crosses an unnamed PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, a post and rail fence on each side, straightens, enters Bank 26, crosses a culvert, cuts a log fence, enters a 100C radius right curve, reaching the 7M point - 40M 16C 51L from Melbourne.
Bank 26 exits to Cutting 28, the line cuts a post and rail fence, tops the rise on a surface forming and enters Bank 25, crosses an unnamed creek via a 6 x 11' openings bridge, enters a surface formation, cuts a post and rail fence, enters Cutting 27, cuts a log fence, crosses a culvert and Occupation Crossing with gates, enters Bank 24, crosses a culvert, enters a surface formation, cuts a post and rail fence, enters Bank 23, straightens, crosses an unnamed small creek with a 5 x 11' openings bridge, enters a 120C radius right curve, crosses an unnamed road PCR Crossing with 13'6" gates, raised 8.75', cuts a post and rail fence on each side and crosses a culvert on the south side. The line then enters Cutting 26, passes a small diverted gully, enters a surface formation, passes another small diverted gully and reaches the 6M point - 39M 16C 51L from Melbourne.
The line continues on a 1 in 50 upward grade and 120C radius right curve, through Cutting 25, through a surface formation, enters Bank 22, cuts through a post and rail fence, enters Cutting 24, crosses an Occupation Crossing with gates and a culvert each side, runs through a surface formation, cuts a post and rail fence, enters short, shallow cutting 23, cuts another post and rail fence, runs through Bank 21 and Cutting 22, enters a surface formation, cross an Occupation Crossing with gates and a culvert, enters Cutting 21, cuts a broken post and rail fences, enters a surface formation, cuts a broken post and rail fence, straightens, and enters the Bylands Station Ground.
