The line leaves the Pyalong Station Groad on a slight upward grade through Cutting 65, crossing a culvert and an unnamed road PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, a fence on the Up side and a fence and culvert on the Down side. It continues on a surface forming into Bank 80, followed by the 44M point - 57M 1C 94L from Melbourne.
On an up grade in Bank 79, the line crosses a culvert, enters Cutting 65, followed by bank 78 where it crosses a culvert, into Cutting 63 enters an 80C radius left curve, cuts a fence, straightens and levels at the entrance to Bank 77, crossing a 3' barrel culvert, enters Cutting 62 on an up grade, levels and enters Bank 76, crosses a culvert, Bank 75, crossing another culvert, starts an up grade into Bank 74, crossing a double culvert, enters a 40C radius left curve, enters Cutting 61, then Bank 73/72 where it crosses a culvert, enters Cutting 60, then Bank 71 where it cuts 2 fences and crosses a culvert, reaching the 43M point - 58M 1C 94L from Melbourne.
Still on an up grade in Bank 71, the line continues to a surface formation, cuts a fence, crosses a culvert, then an unnamed road PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, straightens and transitions to a 60C radius right curve, crosses a fence as it enters Cutting 59. It enters Bank 70 with a culvert, then Cutting 58, followed by Bank 69, crossing a 5 x 7' openings bridge, cuts a fence, crosses a 5 x 11' openings bridge over another unnamed watercourse, crosses a 3' barrel culvert, straightens and transitions to a 40C radius left curve before leaving the bank, enters Cutting 57, crosses the named Seymour Road PCR Crossing with a fence and a culvert each side, continues to Bank 68 where it crosses a culvert and unnamed watercourse, straightens and transitions to a 40C right curve, enters Cutting 56, followed by Bank 67, crossing a culvert, passes through a short, shallow Cutting 55, and then Bank 66 to the 42M point - 59M 1C 94L from Melbourne.
The up grade continues through Bank 66 where it crosses a 3' barrel culvert, straightens, enters Cutting 54, cutting a fence, and another just before exiting the cutting, enters Bank 65 on the level, cuts a fence and crosses a culvert, enters a surface forming where it crosses a culvert, an unnamed PCR Crossing with 14'6" gates, raised 1.36', with a fence on the down side and enters a 40C radius right curve. It then enters Bank 64 where it crosses a 4' x 4' arch culvert, straightens, enters Cutting 53, Bank 63, enters a 60C radius left curve, crosses a culvert, and enters Cutting 52 before reaching the 41M point - 60M 1C 94L from Melbourne.
The line continues into Bank 62, crossing a 3' barrel culvert, enters Cutting 51, followed by Bank 61, crossing a culvert, enters Cutting 50, straightens, enters Bank 60 where it crosses a culvert, enters a 60C radius right curve, cuts a fence and a track, enters Cutting 49 with sides that reach 35.27', straightens, levels near the end of the cutting and descends through Bank 59, crossing a culvert, levelling in Bank 58 and reaching the 40M point - 61M 1C 94L from Melbourne.

Bank 57 continues on a down grade where the line crosses a culvert, crosses the named Track to Seymour PCR Crossing without gates, raised 0.06', followed by a culvert just before entering Cutting 48, enters Bank 56, crossing a culvert, enters Cutting 47, then entering Bank 55, crossing a culvert, entering a short 80C radius left curve, crosses a 3' barrel culvert, then another culvert, straightens, enters Cutting 46, then Cutting 45, followed by Bank 54, cutting a fence, passing a diverted watercourse, crossing a 3 x 11' openings bridge over an unnamed watercourse, levelling to a surface formation, and, at the entrance to Cutting 44, reaching the 39M point - 62M 1C 94L from Melbourne.
Continuing down through Cutting 44, the line passes a diverted watercourse, enters Bank 53, crossing a 5 x 11' openings bridge, runs almost level on a surface formation, enters a 30C radius right curve, enters Bank 52, crossing a double culvert, enters Cutting 43, cuts a fence, crosses an unnamed road (Flagstaff Lane) PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, lowered 3.54', the curve ends at the crossing and the line enters the Tooborac Station Ground.
