Grade: 2630_12

The line exits the Derrinal Station Ground on a slight down grade, cuts a fence, crosses an unnamed PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, raised 2.93', followed by a culvert and a fence. This road was initially shown as closed, indicating that the closure was before a decision to make the road the access to Derrinal Station. It connected to what was then McIvor Road, now Old Bendigo Road, and became the entrance road to Derrinal Station. It received the name Derrinal Station Lane in 2015. There is now a bus stop on McIvor Highway at this point.

Cutting 75 is then entered on a steeper down grade and a fence is cut before it ends, entering Bank 84, crossing a culvert, entering Cutting 74, crossing an Allotment fence, another fence, exiting the cutting, entering Bank 83, followed by a bridge section. The bridge is 26 x 15' openings, crossing the Parish Boundary and named Mount Ida Creek, It the enters Bank 82, then a 40C radius right curve and reaches the 22M point - 79M 1C 94L from Melbourne, calculated from diagram 3303_01.

The line continues down Bank 82, crossing a culvert, cutting a fence, crossing an unnamed road (Derrinal Crosbie Road) PCR Crossing with 13'6" gates, raised 2.25', the grade levels, and the line enters Cutting 73, cuts a fence, enters level bank 81, crosses a culvert, the curve ends, followed by a 3' barrel culvert, and an Occupation Crossing at a track (possibly to nearby sheepyards at the time). It then enters a 30C radius right curve, commences an upward grade into Cutting 72 into a section of boulders at the foot of large granite boulders to the right, ending the boulders near the cutting exit where it enters Bank 80 on a near level grade.

The line crosses named Broken Watercourse via a 3 x 11' openings bridge, exits the boulder section and cuts through a fence. The curve ends and the line enters a low, short bank, crossing a culvert and cutting a fence, the up grade increases, and the line enters Cutting 70, exits to Bank 79, enters a boulder and shingle section and crosses a culvert. The line enters a 40C radius left curve, and after a short surface formation, enters Bank 78, crosses an Allotment Line and crosses an unnamed watercourse via a 7 x 11' openings bridge. It continues into long Cutting 69, reaching the 21M point - 80M 1C 94L from Melbourne, calculated from diagram 3303_01.

The curve ends, the grade peaks and the line descends on a surface forming over a culvert, an unnamed road (then Drummond's Lane, now ??) PCR Crossing with 13'6" gates, raised 1.50', enters bank 77, crossing a culvert, entering Cutting 68, continues to enter a 70C right curve to Bank 76 where it cuts through a fence, crosses an unnamed watercourse via a 3 x 7' openings bridge, the curve ends, the line crosses the Parish Boundary, crosses a culvert, followed by named Main Road to Heathcote, 3 Chains Wide (Moorabbee Foreshore Road) PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, raised 2.05', then runs on a surface formation, cuts a fence, enters Bank 75, reaching the 20M point - 81M 1C 94L from Melbourne, calculated from diagram 3303_01.

Before exiting Bank 75, the line crosses a 5 x 7' bridge on the level, and enters Cutting 67 on a slight up grade, exits on a slight down grade into Bank 74, and cuts a fence Allotment Line. It then runs on a surface formation, crosses a culvert, enters Cutting 66, exits and runs on a surface formation, into Bank 73, crossing a 5 x 7' openings bridge, enters Cutting 65, then Bank 72 on the level, crosses a culvert, enters shallow Cutting 64, cuts a fence Allotment Line, commences a down grade, enters a surface formation, reaching 19M - 82M 1C 94L from Melbourne, calculated from diagram 3303_01.

The line continues into Bank 71, crosses a culvert, runs on a surface forming into Bank 70, crosses a culvert, enters another surface forming to Bank 69, crosses a culvert, runs on a long surface formation, levels, enters a 40C radius left curve, crosses an Occupation Crossing with 13'6" gates, with a culvert each side, and enters Bank 68 where the curve ends.. It crosses an unnamed watercourse (a tributary of the nearby Forest Creek), enters a surface forming on a slight up grade, runns through a 50C radius right curve, the line cuts through a fence, cuts through an old fence, followed by an unnamed road (Knowsley-Eppalock Road) PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, with a fence on each side, and enters the Knowsley Station Ground.
