The line passed a diverted watercourse in Bank 75, entered a surface forming and crossed the named Main Road to Heathcote (Moorabbee Foreshore Road) 3 Chain Wide PCR Crossing with 18'6" gates, raised 2.05', with a culvert under approach right side, entering Bank 75 in the process.

In 1886, the McIvor Highway section between Moorabbee Foreshore Road and the Heathcote end of Derrinal Station did not exist. It is a creation that followed the line closure in 1958 and the section between Moorabbee Foreshore Road and what is now called Old Bendigo Road is normally under water. Drought periods expose the road and several bridges. The old road connects with the current McIvor Highway near the crossing at the Heathcote end of Derrinal Station. A few images, all taken in March, 2016, will illustrate.
