• A tender is placed for the construction of a stone house, a quarter of a mile from the Axedale Railway Station.
• The Bendigo City Council has accepted the tender of Mr. M.H. Beard for the cartage for the year of spalls from their municipal quarries to the Axedale Station, at 4/- a ton. The price paid the previous year was 2/- a ton.
• The road patrol at Bendigo reports that on the alternative route to the city from Melbourne (via Kilmore and Heathcote), the road between Bendigo and Axedale is in very rough condition, but from Axedale to Heathcote, the surface shows improvement, and is very fair to its junction with the Hume Highway, two miles north of Kilmore.
• In the City Court, Mr. V.A. Deane, Axedale, is fined £9 for having driven an unregistered motor car, and for driving a car without a driver's licence.
• Councillor Mills complains of damage, caused by wandering pigs, to tennis courts and macadamised roads in Axedale
• Recent complaints concerning the unsatisfactory material used for road top-dressing have resulted in the Bendigo City Council asking the City Engineer to prepare cost estimates for providing new machinery at their Axedale quarries for producing screenings and toppings.
• The Heathcote rail motor, returning from Bendigo, collides with a motor truck at the crossing at Ingham Siding. Edward Parsons, driver of the truck, is thrown clear. He sustains a cut on one of his arms and abrasions. His companion, H. English, was unable to jump from the truck as the train approached. The truck was wrecked and the rail motor damaged. The rail motor was in charge of W. Noble, motorman, and J. Sidellin, Guard, who rendered first aid to Parsons and had him conveyed to Bendigo for attention.

• V.A. Deane supplies screenings for the Bendigo-Serpentine Road.
• The Transport Board considers and grants an application for a tourist service radiating from Bendigo - subject to the applicant furnishing details of routes and satisfactory fares. The Board also dealt with applications for passenger services between Bendigo and Melbourne via Romsey, Lancefield, Pyalong, Heathcote and Axedale. These applications were opposed by the Railways and the Board reserved its decision..
• The annual picnic of the Operative Bakers is held at Axedale with a special train carrying 150 people.
• The annual picnic organised by the Victoria Trades Hall Council is held at Axedale with a special train conveying a large crowd.
• Axedale Bluestone Quarries Pty Ltd Bendigo - Supplies screenings and toppings for the Murray Valley Highway, Rochester and Cohuna. [This appears to be the business name of Trench and Co., although they convinced the Railways that they had not conducted any business since 1934.]]
• The bluestone quarrying plant, building and machinery at the quarry at what was originally known as Ingham Siding is offered for sale by tender. It is under the name of Axedale Bluestone Quarries Pty. Ltd. at the time. [This coincides with the winding up of Trench and Co.]
